Pregnant TV star Maia Dunphy has pleaded with fans to stop telling her life is over now.
The RTE presenter announced last week she was having a baby boy with comedian husband Johnny Vegas.
But the 39-year-old has now asked her fans to stop dishing out the horrible reality of being a parent.

She said: “Can people please stop sending me ‘you’ll never sleep again’ and ‘your life is over’ messages. Really not helpful.”
Maia announced her pregnancy with a hilarious tweet by posting a picture of a baby scan with a pint of Guinness photoshopped in his hand.
She joked with her hubby: “Well Johnny Vegas, at least we know he’s definitely yours”.

Meanwhile, Maia recently admitted that it has been “tough” being pregnant – especially finding out just after a move to the UK.
She said: “It was a tough first few months as I had just moved to London when I found out, and I could have done with a bit longer to settle in but I am regularly told that there is never a perfect time.
“It can be a very lonely secret to keep when you don’t have close friends nearby, but my husband was great as was my sister who is in London too.”
