Rosanna Davison’s friends surprised her with a baby shower this afternoon, before she becomes a mum for the first time next month.
Without suspecting a thing, the former Miss World was brought to Powerscourt Hotel in Co. Wicklow by her husband Wes Quirke, and was surprised with a beautiful baby-themed bash.
Rosanna’s model pal Rosalind Lipsett shared photos from the baby shower on Instagram, showing the mum-to-be posing next to a pink and white cake.
The room was decorated with baby girl balloons, and photos of Rosanna as a little girl.
All guests were treated to afternoon tea, and Rosanna agreed that she has the “cutest friends” on her Instagram Story.
Rosanna and Wes are expecting a baby girl via gestational surrogate, and her due date is next month.
At the time, the 35-year-old said: “We’ve dreamed of being parents for many years & I would have loved to carry my own baby, but for reasons unknown (most likely embryo rejection due to an overactive immune system) & although tests show excellent fertility, I’ve been unable to sustain any of my pregnancies, despite the best efforts of reproductive immunology experts & a lot of immune-suppressant medication, injections, intravenous infusions & surgery.”
