A petition to get Conor McGregor’s face put on the €1 coin will be discussed in the House of the Oireachtas today.
The UFC champion clearly has a dedicated fan base, as thousands signed a petition to get the Dubliner immortalised on the coin.
The petition was created by Patrick O’Leary, and was received by Government on December 15th.
On the official Oireachtas website, the petition is stated to be discussed today.
Could Conor be replacing the harp?
The news comes after Conor confirmed he will be fighting for the world title a second time.
