Singer Noel Gallagher has caused controversy after his performance on The Saturday Night Show tonight.
The former Oasis star performed his new Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds single tonight, but many viewers felt he was “miming”.
Taking to social networks, fans blasted the singer.
“Why the f*** is #NoelGallagher not singing live #rte u are a f***ing joke,” one viewer wrote.

“Noel gallagher was definitely miming that!!! WTF! #saturdaynightshow,” another viewer wrote.
“I reckon I could have mimed better than Noel Gallagher on #satnightshow, he couldn’t give less of a f***!,” another added.

He later played Heat of The Moment, but once again viewers claimed he was lip-synching.
However many fans pointed out that Noel sang live on Graham Norton’s show this week.
The singer was on the BBC show alongside Hugh Jackman and David Beckham, and was praised for his performance.

Speaking about kicking off his tour in Ireland, Noel said he didn’t decide to start here.
“It wasn’t really a conscious decision, it wasn’t my decision,” he told host Brendan. But Noel added that he’s a huge fan of Tayto crips.
“I Stock up on the real crips before heading back to the UK. (Tayto) crisps are food of the Gods,” he said.
