Nicky Byrne has revealed he didn’t think that claims a Westlife song was used for torture were real.
The 2FM presenter was left shocked last week when it was revealed their track My Love had been used as a torture tactic by the CIA.
While members Kian and Nicky both came out and addressed the claims, Nicky has admitted he thought the original story was a joke.

“I thought it was a joke from Waterford Whispers,” he revealed on The Nicky Byrne Show.
It was reported that torture victim Suleiman Abdullah was forced to listen to My Love    “on repeat at ear-splitting volume” with heavy metal music mixed in.
