Nadine Coyle has responded to the rumours that she and fellow Girls Aloud star Cheryl Fernandez-Versini don’t get on.
The Derry native has insisted that the pair enjoyed a “nice relationship” during their time in the band.
Quizzed about how she feels about the Geordie beauty by BBC’s Richard Madeley, Nadine insisted she thinks Cheryl is “wonderful”.

“I think she’s great, I think she’s wonderful. We’ve always had a (whispers) nice relationship.”
The Irish pop star also confirmed that the news of Girls Aloud splitting up was only given to her 20 minutes before a gig and it came as a shock.
“I didn’t see it coming. I was having a great time. I loved the music and the fact the shows we were able to do were so good,” she said.
Surprise: Nadine said she didn’t see the Girls Aloud split coming
The revelation comes in sharp contrast to Cheryl labelling Nadine as “full of s**t” last year for claiming she didn’t want the band to split up.
“She’s full of s**t. What do you want us to say? She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the haitus,” Cheryl told Attitude Magazine in 2014.
“She wants to come out and say we broke the band up? No!”
