Mrs. Brown’s Boys star Rory Cowan has opened up about the single life and admitted he’ll be spending  Christmas alone.
The actor has been single ever since Mrs. Brown’s Boys hit the big time and explained that going on dates is tough as he is constantly approached for autographs.
“When I’m on a date there are people constantly approaching me for autographs and photos,” he said.

“That’s the reason that there’s never a second date. Nobody would put up with being pushed out of the way like that. That’s just the way it is and I don’t mind that.”
However, Rory added that he loves getting to meet his fans.
“They only ever have good things to say,” he said.

Speaking at O’Connell Street as he put the star onto their iconic Christmas tree, Rory admitted that this year he will be missing his late father, who passed away from cancer in 2008.
“He passed away just before Mrs Brown got big,” he told RSVP Magazine.
He was a huge fan of the show and I know he would have loved to see it receive such massive success. He would have been knocking on all of the neighbours’ doors to tell them about his famous son.”
Rory was in town to promote the launch of How Now Mrs. Brown Cow on DVD.
