MMA Coach John Kavanagh has announced the birth of his first child.

The Dubliner, famed for training Conor McGregor, announced the news via social media on Monday night.

Bringing his 333k followers on the journey with him, he earlier showed fans the weighing scales where his son would lie on when he was born.

John, who is the older brother of popular social media star and presenter James Kavanagh, updated his thread with a picture of himself and his son.

The best-selling author welcomed his first child with fiancée Orlagh Hunter.
