Miriam O’Callaghan has revealed how she deals with online trolls.
The RTE star is one of the broadcaster’s most well-known presenters for her shows Primetime and Saturday Night With Miriam.
“I don’t go on the hashtag #MiriamOCallaghan until two days after the show has aired. By then all of the nasty comments have gone, and I don’t want to see them,” she said.

The mother-of-eight admitted that a lot of her colleagues have deleted their Twitters because of the abuse but she plans on holding onto hers.
“Twitter is a nasty place. A lot of my colleagues have deleted their accounts, but I haven’t,” she told the Irish Independent.
“It’s a bounty of information. By and large people are very nice. People realise they can be prosecuted for what they say now.”
