Maura Higgins has won praise on social media, after making her presenting debut on Glow Up Ireland.
The brand new RTÉ series, which is hosted by the Love Island star, kicked off on RTÉ2 on Thursday night.
Glow Up Ireland will see ten of Ireland’s best amateur MUAs rise to the challenge of assignments where they will show off their skill, artistry and imagination.

Throughout the series, contestants will be asked to create amazing make-up transformations in a dedicated studio space – which will be judged by industry legends Cathyanne Mac Allister and Emma O’Byrne.
At the end of the series, one of them will be crowned Ireland’s Next Make-Up Star, and will win an amazing opportunity to further their professional career.
After the show premiered on RTÉ2 on Thursday night, viewers took to Twitter to praise the new series – and its host.
