Late Late: Tom will join Ryan this week on The Late Late Show | RTE

Martina Navratilova dominated the tennis scene in the 70s and 80s and continued to win titles right up to her retirement just before turning 50.

She joins host Ryan Tubridy to chat about life after tennis; the moment she decided it was time to escape from behind the Iron Curtain, and why her first Wimbledon title was bittersweet.

British broadcaster Vanessa Feltz unwittingly found herself at the eye of a media storm this summer when columnist Kevin Myers singled her out in a now notorious column about BBC pay.

On this week’s Late Late she will tell viewers how it felt when she read that column and what it was like to be in the middle of the international outcry that followed.

Mr & Mrs:Bridget & Eamon will be putting their relationship to the test in Mr & Mrs | RTE

Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O’Shea will be in studio as their alter egos Bridget & Eamon put their marriage to the test in a special Mr and Mrs quiz.

When Ruth Fitzmaurice’s husband Simon was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2008, their world was turned upside down.

She joins Ryan on Friday night to discuss how the family have coped since, Simon’s unbending spirit and will to survive and how swimming in the Irish Sea helped her to find her tribe and her own voice.

All that and music from Hudson Taylor and Derek Ryan.
