Scott van-der-Sluis has revealed his plans to return to Dublin.
The Love Island star, who was dumped from the villa last month alongside Abi Moores, hails from Connah’s Quay in North Wales.
Prior to his appearance on the hit dating show, the 22-year-old played as a goalkeeper for League of Ireland team Shelbourne F.C.
Upon entering the Love Island villa, Scott told Irish contestant Catherine Agbaje: “So basically my friend was there last year, and [I] basically just called him up one day and says ‘I wanna come and live in Dublin for a year cause it’s an unbelievable city.’”
“I think it’s class, I love the Irish music and the Irish vibe.”
The 22-year-old revealed he was based in Castleknock, which is right around the corner from Catherine’s native Blanchardstown.
During an Instagram Q&A, Scott was asked: “Are you coming back to Dublin? Can’t leave us!”
The Welshman replied: “I had some of the best times of my life in Dublin, and I will be back soon!”
Love Island: The Reunion airs on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and Virgin Media Two.
