Louise McSharry has revealed that she never though that cancer would kill her.
The 2fm star is now fully recovered from her battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and admitted that now that she’s past it – insisting she doesn’t think she “had a brush with death”.
“Now, in the aftermath, I don’t think I had a brush with death,” she said.

“I didn’t feel like that was ever going to happen to me. And if you’re being treated as an outpatient, you go to hospital and see people who are much worse off than you are,” she told the RTE Guide.
The radio DJ pointed out that the most important thing to remember is that “life goes on.”
“So you can’t wallow too much, when you’re confronted with that. Everything is relative to other people’s situations. Life goes on.”
