TV star Laura Whitmore has told how her relationships can be torpedoed when the paparazzi link her to other men.
The I’m A Celebrity presenter says she finds it “ridiculous” to be accused of dating any men she is near. But she said: “At least it hasn’t started with girls now.”
Instead, the 29-year-old tries to keep new loves “quiet” – and finds it “quite annoying” to be linked to any man she is spotted near while in a fledgling relationship.

“When I am seeing someone I try to keep it as quiet as I can, until you know,” she said.
“And even then it’s quite nice to keep that side personal, it can be quiet annoying when they catch you off guard.
“I don’t have people outside my house all the time but it is annoying when you are seeing someone, and they picture you talking to another guy and say you are going out with them and it’s not true.”
And Laura says it “took me a while” to get used to being linked to men all the time.
“If you go to an event you realise there are going to be cameras – it’s good press, it’s not bad,” she said.

“It’s more when they are outside your house, when they follow you down the street. It took me a while to you get used to.
“Particularly since any boy I am standing in the vicinity of I’m going out with, which is ridiculous. Any boy I’ve ever met.
“I have friends who are boys, believe it or not, who I just hang out with, who are just interested in the same things. At least it hasn’t started with girls now.”
And Laura told Irish Tatler that she has even felt “intimidated” after snappers stalked her home.
She added: “I remember two guys on a bike followed me home and I was kind of embarrassed if my neighbours saw.

“I remember feeling a bit intimidated too because you are just a girl with these two guys.”
Now Laura feels she should keep quiet on her relationships – especially after dating The Coronas frontman Danny O’Reilly.
She said: “Even when I was going out with Danny I was very conscious of being private, I’ve seen people give away too much of themselves sometimes.”
She added: “I realise at this stage I am better off not saying anything. I think for the last two years they’ve been saying I’m going out with Niall Horan.
“And I will do the interview about something else and that will still be the headline, so I am getting a bit sick of it – he’s lovely, he’s a friend – but it’s a bit annoying. I’ve enough stuff to be dealing with.”
