Actor Aidan Turner has revealed he is shy about his sex symbol status.
The Poldark star has become the newest TV hunk, thanks to his role in the BBC series.
But the Dublin actor admitted he’s not too fond of female fans obsessing over his body.
“It’s lovely for people to say but it’s getting a bit much and kind of embarrassing,” he said.

“There’s only a few short scenes where I’ve got my shirt off and they’re lit in a very flattering light.
“And believe me, I don’t like that now,” he told the Sunday World magazine.
