Irish stars wow at the Venice Film Festival

The 80th annual Venice International Film Festival kicked off this week, running until September 9th.

The film festival attracts the world’s most famous celebrities every year, and some Irish stars got to rub shoulders with them on Thursday night.

Influencers Sophie Murray and Terrie McEvoy were invited to attend the star-studded event with Armani Beauty, alongside beauty expert Triona McCarthy.

Accompanied by PR guru Róisín Tierney-Crowe, the Head of Communications at L’Oréal Ireland, they got to attend the world premiere of Michael Mann’s independent film Ferrari.

The movie, which has already received rave reviews, stars Adam Driver, Penelope Cruz and Patrick Dempsey.

Sophie, Terrie and Triona got all glammed up for the occasion, as they posed on the red carpet in front of hundreds of photographers.

Terrie, who wowed in a white fitted gown with extravaggant balloon sleeves, said it was a “surreal” experience as she shared photos and videos of her outfit on Instagram.

Sophie, who recently debuted a new look after cutting her hair short, also stunned in a pink tulle maxi dress with a halterneck design.

Ever the fashionista, Triona looked sensational in a strapless black and pink Carolina Herrera gown.
