Hollywood superstar set for The Late Late Show this weekend

He's an a-lister

RTÉ

Hollywood superstar Russell Crowe leads the line-up for this Friday’s Late Late Show.

The Gladiator and Man of Steel star will join Ryan Tubridy on the couch for a chat about life on the Hollywood A-List, juggling family, music and movies; and hitting the road with his band as they prepare to play Dublin at the end of the month.

He will perform alongside Indoor Garden Party and he may even have time to join The Late Late Show house band for another song.

After the news that the ‘Memory Man’ Jimmy Magee unexpectedly passed away this week, Ryan will be joined by some of Jimmy’s friends and colleagues as they remember the man who, for many people, is the defining voice of Irish sport.

Francis Brennan will also be on the show, and this time he’s turning his attention to the nation’s living rooms with his new book on managing homes.

He’ll be joining Ryan to catch up on his summer eating snake and other shenanigans on his recent grand tour of Vietnam, and telling viewers what they should do when life gives them lemons.

Stars of the brand new Sunday night drama, Acceptable Risk, Elaine Cassidy and Angeline Ball will also be in studio to chat about filming the high octane thriller in Dublin and Montreal.

Elaine will be telling viewers how she missed out on kissing Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Angeline will share why she’s glad to be shedding her blonde bombshell image.

Plus viral sensations Jiggy will perform.

Watch The Late Late Show on RTÉ One, Friday, September 22nd at 9.35pm.
