Holly Carpenter reveals men send her inappropriate Snapchats: 'It's gross'

Holly Carpenter has revealed that she blocks people who send her inappropriate Snapchats.

The stunning model became infamous for her Snapchat after a video she made went viral and she told Goss.ie the added fame has meant more followers and some risky pictures.

“Yeah I wouldn’t be into that, anyone that sends me any kind of graphic Snapchat I just block them. But now I have 25,000 of them so they are all randomers. It’s gross, I just block them,” she said.

The Dublin native also admitted that men are reluctant to send her snaps since the picture sharing app success.

“I’ve loads of followers now. I think guys are a bit more afraid to Snapchat me because they think I’ll analyse it more,” she added.

The 23-year-old never expected her social media video to be such a huge hit and puts the entire thing down to luck.

“It’s crazy. It just shows it’s all about luck really. I’ve spent way more time on other pieces and they haven’t gone as big at all but I think it’s because its relatable and it’s down to earth. To be a model doing that is not that common I think,” she admitted.

Aside from her Snapchat fame, Holly has been met with a nastier side of social media, being the victim of Catfish.

Someone recently stole her photos and used them to set up a fake dating profile, speaking to people and giving them their number.

“I’m still having to deal with that its really annoying. I put up a selfie on instagram last week and they changed their whatsapp photo to that selfie so they are clearly still texting people pretending to be me. It’s gone to the guards now but its really hard.”

Dating: Holly prefers old school dating | PHOTOCALL IRELAND

The former Miss Ireland also admitted that she isn’t a fan of online dating and prefers old school dating.

“I think I would be a bit nervous that someone would be full of chat online and really funny and then you meet them and they have no personality or anything or sense of humour. I’d rather go on a date with a guy I was friends with first,” she told Goss.ie.

Holly was celebrating Haagen-Dazs #RealorNothing campaign which aims to promote the natural ingredients used in their ice-cream which hasn’t changed since they first start making it in 1961.
