Greg O’Shea reveals he’s had three surgeries to fix his ‘biggest insecurity’

Greg O’Shea has revealed he’s had three surgeries to fix his “biggest insecurity”.

The former Love Island winner confessed he’s “very insecure” about it, and hates when people point it out on social media.

When asked to share his biggest insecurity, Greg told the Irish Independent: “My crooked nose and crushed skull.”

“I had my nose, cheekbone, eye sockets and skull broken in a rugby tackle a few years back,” he explained.

“I’ve had three surgeries to fix the nose and I haven’t had the dent fixed in my skull yet. I get very insecure when people look at me for too long or point it out online in photos.”

The Limerick native shot to fame when he won the 2019 series of Love Island with Amber Gill, who he split from shortly after they left the villa.

The 28-year-old has since admitted he would love to go on the show again for an All-Star series.

The Six O’Clock Show host previously told Goss.ie: “If it was a Love Island All Star series with previous winners and big characters like Chris [Hughes] and Kem [Cetinay], and Wes Nelson, then I would.”

“I think it would be a bit of craic and everyone would tune in to watch it. But I don’t think I’d go back on to just a normal series. I was very fortunate the way my journey went on Love Island, I don’t think it could’ve went better.”

“It went perfectly so to do it again, it could only go downhill. So I don’t think I’d do what Adam Collard did.”

Last summer, Adam Collard shocked fans when he returned to the iconic villa as a bombshell – four years after he first appeared on the show in 2018.

This was the first time bosses invited a former contestant to appear on the show for the second time.

Following the success of Adam’s return, producers brought back Kady McDermott, who originally appeared on the show in 2016, for this year’s summer series.
