Gerald Kean has opened up on online dating.
The Celebrity Operation Transformation previously dated socialite  Lisa Murphy on and off for a number of years.
However, he doesn’t think he would create an online profile because of his status.
“Would I consider online dating? Because of my profile, that would concern me a little bit,” he said.

Gerald admitted that he doesn’t understand why there’s such a high stigma attached to online dating, but he isn’t interested because it would be in “every newspaper.”
“I’m wondering if I could even use my real name, because if they find out who I am it’s going to be all over the place,” he told RSVP Magazine.
“My problem is that it could be in every newspaper in the country tomorrow.
“I don’t know why there’s a stigma attached to it. Not everyone can meet girls, and they are not going to pubs and clubs on their own so online dating helps.
“I’m assuming that they are just looking to meet somebody, we are all looking to meet somebody I think.”

Gerald revealed that dating hasn’t become harder for him as he’s gotten older but being in the public eye makes romancing hard.
“Dating hasn’t got harder for me as I’ve got older. I couldn’t get a girl to go out with me for the first 25 years of my life, but I think it gets easier.
“People have a perception; they think you have money even though I keep saying that I don’t.
“Getting VIP treatment in restaurants seems important to some ladies, I’ve often had to come out of a restaurant seperately because there’s a photographer there.
“I’ve a beautiful home, a beautiful house, lots of friends but you have to differentiate from somebody who loves you for what you are, against what they think you are or than from your perceived lifestyle or persona,” he added.
