Yvonne Connolly has revealed that she won’t pressure her daughter Ali into working in the showbiz industry.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, the mum-of-three admitted that she won’t push her daughter into acting.
Her youngest daughter Ali has already played a role in an Idris Elba short film.
“Ali fell into that, it was a really cute little role in a Idris Elba movie which was an amazing opportunity,” she said.
“I won’t be pushing or encouraging her, it’s up to her if she wants to do more, I feel like at the moment she’s just busy being ten.”
Ali’s older sister Missy is extremely passionate about her acting career and is known for staring in Dark Touch.
“Missy, my oldest girl is the one who really has a passion for acting, she’s a natural,” Yvonne told Goss.ie.

“She’s very very good, she’s done a lot of really nice roles lately.”
Speaking at the launch of the Buy My Dress Campaign supported by Kellog’s Special K, Yvonne opened up about her passion for cooking and revealed that she would love to have her own cookbook.
“I’m really enjoying doing a lot of cooking of television and I’m cooking at home a lot.”

“A cookbook would be amazing but I have no plans at the moment, in my kitchen I have recipes and I tweak everything and make it my own.”
“For only me a cookbook would be great to have it all in one book – whether anyone else would buy it or not, I don’t know. In the future who knows,” she said.
