Karl Bowe has revealed he is in talks with RTE to film a documentary about his journey to UK stardom.
The Mr Ireland winner has made plans to move over to London to follow his dream of becoming an actor and now Irish TV bosses want to get in on the gig.
“I was talking to a producer yesterday and basically RTE are thinking of doing a documentary on me, following me on my journey to the UK,” he told Goss.ie.
“It’s in talks at the moment. They approached me about two weeks ago, a few TV writers. It would be very good so fingers crossed something will materialise from that.”

Karl recently made his debut on UK TV when he appeared on dating show Take Me Out and has been eager to land more work in London ever since.
“I was on Take Me Out, and when that aired an agency got in contact with me and asked would I be interested in going over for a chat.
“So I met them and they were interested in signing me straight away. They liked what they saw. They’re called BMA, they’re a modelling agency, they represent Holly Carpenter as well.”
“They also have a lot of acting and TV work as well. They said, ‘we’ll definitely do our best to get you working’, it was very positive,” he revealed.

Although he landed a small role in TV3 soap Red Rock, Karl admitted that finding acting work in Ireland can be tough and very inconsistent.
“I’ve been doing a bit of acting here for the last while but the work isn’t consistent enough,” he told Goss.ie.
“I think in this country, you’d be going around and around and not getting your teeth sunk into anything specific. There’s a lot more opportunity in the UK.”

Until he makes the big move to London this Summer, Karl is dreaming of landing a role on one of the soaps.
“I’d love to get into a soap, the likes of Coronation Street or Eastenders, something like that. If I can get my foot in the door with a soap, I’d be very happy.”
