Doireann Garrihy had the 2018 Gossies howling as she hosted our third annual awards ceremony.
The 25-year-old finally addressed rumours about a romance with her co-host Martin Guilfoyle, on SPIN1038’s Zoo Crew.
Fans had been speculating for months about the chemistry the pair have on their show.
“No truth!”
“People cant seem to accept that we are friends and a boy and a girl can be friends.”
“We get on great… we are so lucky because we actually didn’t no each other before the Zoo Crew”.
The Snapchat star and all round brilliant broadcaster was ecstatic when talking about her hosting duties for the 2018 Gossies.
“I’m delighted to be here. Last year was my first year at the Gossies and I was nominated and I won my category!
“It was the first time I was like ‘I can do this!’ so it’s amazing to be back as the host of it tonight.”
Speaking about The Doireann project getting commissioned again she rejoiced.
“I’m delighted and over the moon!”
“It looks like it is going to be a six part series for the RTE player and then hopefully an episode or two for RTE 2 out of what we make for the online stuff.”
The animated presenter gugshed about how she loves being a dog mom.
“I live with my sister Ailbhe and she has a little doggy Bobby he’s a Maltese, and I just think he is the cutest god I have ever seen and I know I am biased but people write to me all the time on Snapchat and they are like, he is the cutest dog I have ever seen.”
Asked if she would be bringing Bobby around in a handbag à la Paris Hilton she was a fan of the idea.
“Yes, I think that’s a great idea Paris is an icon!”
