Glenn & Ronan’s lives changed forever when they uploaded a video of themselves singing an Adele medley on YouTube.
And after millions of views, the singers have now been lucky enough to perform with the singer herself and appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Speaking exclusively to LAgoss.com at the Oscar Wilde Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, the pair reflected on how much has happened over the past year and revealed what’s next for them.
“For me anyway, I was working in a juice bar in Waterford, where I’m from, when we made that video,” Glenn said.
And it’s only the beginning for the two talented singers, who performed during the US and Ireland Alliance event alongside Glen Hansard.
Speaking about what’s next, Glenn said: “We’ve been touring a lot over the past year and we’re actually heading back on tour now again, and we’re writing our debut album. And if you’d told me that then I would have told you to get lost.”
Ronan added that they are “very lucky lads”, and revealed the Oscar Wilde Awards had been in touch last year about performing at the 2017 event, but they thought it would all be forgotten about.
Ronan also shared that as a “big film buff”, he was most excited about meeting “amazing” J.J. Abrams, who hosts the bash at his Bad Robot studios every year.
