Brendan Courtney has revealed his boyfriend cheating on him ended up being a good thing – because it inspired him to create a TV show.
The Off The Rails presenter discovered that his two-timing ex was meeting up with other men from the dating site Gaydar.
“My very first TV program was called Wonderlust which was about people who met through chatrooms, it was ahead of it’s time,” he told Goss.ie.

“It was based on the fact that my boyfriend was cheating on me on Gaydar. When I found out, I went ‘what is this gaydar thing’, this was fourteen years ago.”
While Brendan is currently in a relationship, he admitted that he used dating apps like Grindr during his single days.
The TV star thinks it’s important for singletons out there to broaden their horizons and look online for love.

It comes after Brendan previously revealed that he’s happy not hosting the VIP Style Awards this year, as the show is “not very well paid”.
