The Elaine Show has been axed after ten years on air.
The popular daytime show saw presenter Elaine Crowley speak to a panel of regular guests and famous faces about entertainment, news and culture.
Sharing the sad news on Instagram, Elaine wrote: “It’s with a heavy heart I say goodbye to the Elaine show.”

“It’s been such a privilege and an honour to work with such amazing women and men over the last 10 years. Such great friendships have been forged, and many many laughs have been had, especially behind the scenes (the bold stuff I can’t tell you about!)”
“I just want to thank everyone involved in the show: the crew, production team, panelist’s and most of all the viewers. Your support has meant the world to me and got me through some difficult times. I’m so lucky to have had the chance to work with you all, and have my name on a mug!!”
“Anyway, enough waffling from me for now. Take care of yourselves, be kind to yourselves and thank you for being there.”
Loose Women will take over from Elaine’s 3pm weekday slot.
Elaine will now join Simon Delaney on Ireland AM every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, following Anna Daly’s shock departure from the show.
Loose Women is returning to Virgin Media One from Monday. The chat show will take over the @ElaineVMTV slot at 3pm on weekdays, but don’t worry, @ElaineCrowley is not going far, as she joins @IrelandAMVMTV, with @SimonDelaneyEsq every Friday, Saturday & Sunday, starting Sept 3rd. pic.twitter.com/ADSzWQ5UZ1
