Actor and Director Dylan Townsend has sold his first TV show to a US network.
The younger brother of actor Stuart Townsend has sold 8 episode series Hipsterverse to TAG – a channel which airs in 1.4 million hotels worldwide.
Hipsterverse was created and filmed by Dylan in Vancouver during his time on RTE 2 show Exiles: Vancouver.
The series stars Michael Coleman from Once Upon a Time and is guest directed by Friends star Aisha Tyler.

” Its been a big dream to make a project that poked fun at the ridiculous stuff that our millennial generation get up to,” Dylan said.
“Its not really about hipsters per se, but more a comedic social commentary on my generation.”
“I’m delighted for the series to find a home over the pond. This is a culmination of two and half years work and looks like only the beginning of the series,” he said.
