Conor McGregor’s dad has opened up about the moment his son bought the family a fleet of BMWs.
Tony McGregor revealed not only did his UFC champ son buy them new luxury motors but also bought their family home from them.
“The gesture just blew us away,” he said.

“When he came home from LA he called us all up to his new abode up in the golf course and sat us all down and he just spelled it all out with his accounting firm, what they were going to do for us.
“They decided to buy the house off us, we’ll hold lifelong interest in it. It’s a huge gesture – we’re really very lucky,” he told Ryan Tubridy on RTE Radio 1.
“We walked out of there and we all had BMWs – I’m driving a 5-series, brand spanking new, his mother’s driving one, his sister’s driving one.”
The Dubliner admitted the family realises how the sports star’s success has changed all their lives.

“Things have turned around and we’re aware of that fact. We travel with him [Conor] all the time. It’s all very well now, we’re going to some really salubrious locations – Vegas, Sweden, Boston,” he said.
“But we’ve also been in the less salubrious locations prior to him signing for the UFC.”
Meanwhile, Tony joked his UFC son’s lavish lifestyle has outgrown the family home and now has a plush pad of his own in Ireland.
“It suited him at the time, it doesn’t suit him now. He has an A-list lifestyle so he’s more used to jacuzzis and swimming pools and we don’t have that,” he laughed.
