As excitement builds for the Conor McGregor v Khabib Nurmagomedov fight, the Dubliner is teasing training photos.
Sharing a new photo on his Instagram account, Conor showed his 24.9 million followers that he is back training strong.
“First it was Bruce Lee,” he wrote. “Now it’s Conor Mac.”
Conor, 30, is set to take part in the record-breaking fight in Las Vegas, with UFC boss Dana White already saying he thinks the pay-per-view orders will be over 2 million – doubling the amount of Conor’s last UFC fight.
“We’re looking at two million pay-per-view buys,” Dana told TSN Sports.
“There was really no problems putting this fight together. It’s what makes Conor McGregor such an international superstar.
“This guy fights anybody, anywhere, any time. After a two-year layoff, he comes right out of the gate and wants Khabib and Khabib, who’s undefeated and obviously destroyed everybody in front of him, wants this fight now and wants to defend his title against Conor McGregor.”
Meanwhile, the UFC boss added that Conor was now making so much money from the UFC, he may as well be an owner in the company.
“He’s making so much f**king money he might as well be a part owner,” he said.
