Conor McGregor opens up about his friendship with Drake

The pals are both at the top of their game

Conor McGregor has opened up about his friendship with superstar Drake – and they are both taking over the world.

The MMA star revealed he met the singer through record and film producer Jimmy Iovine who invited him to one of his gigs.

“I’d spoke to Drake before the first Diaz fight – he reached out and messaged me – and we’ve been in contact since then,” he said.

The Crumlin native admitted that he doesn’t know if Drake will come to UFC 205 this weekend – but said that for a ringside ticket, people have to be well established.

“I went and met him backstage and he was a cool guy. Another man at the top of his game – it was a great night,” he told UFC during his Mystic Mac prediction.

“I don’t know [if he’ll come to UFC 205], I haven’y spoken to him in a while. Maybe, I’m not sure.

“I know it’s $50,000 for a ringside ticket so you’ve got to be accomplished to be at these events these days.”
