They’ve already started trash talking each other again on social media this week, and now rumours are rife that Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather could be set for another fight.
Last year Conor went ten rounds with the world champion boxer, with the Dubliner raking in over $100 million from the fight.
Now a year later, Mayweather’s dad has said the UFC champion is “in talks” to enter the boxing ring again.
“They are talking like Floyd and Conor McGregor are going to fight. That’s what it sounds like,” he said.
“I don’t know for sure but I’m just saying the way things are sounding to me. Sounds like my son wants to fight again.”
“It is is difficult to imagine that such a rematch could command an ounce of the appeal that the first bout demanded.
It comes after Conor hit back at Mayweather when he offered to help him “train” in his Vegas gym.

While nothing is confirmed just yet, Conor will be returning to the UFC on October 6th in Vegas to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The fight has been dubbed the most “highly anticiapted fight in UFC history”, with tickets selling out in under three minutes.
