Conor McGregor and Dana White to meet for first time since UFC223 incident

Conor McGregor and Dana White are meeting up later this month for the first time since the Dubliner was brought to court for his actions at the UFC223 media event.

He was in court in New York for less than a minute yesterday having had three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief brought against him. It has been reported that Conor wishes to strike a plea deal otherwise he may face as many as seven years in prison.

The dad of one was given another hearing date on the 26th of July.

Dana is already looking to the fighter’s future though. The UFC president hasn’t had any involvement in Conor’s defense and previously said he was going to wait to see how the legal system punished him before he decided on his own sanctions.

“He’s gotta be punished by the law first. Let’s see what happens in New York,” he previously told TMZ.

This week he has confirmed, “He and I are meeting on the 18th of this month.”
