Brian Dowling shares delight as husband Arthur finally returns to Ireland

Brian Dowling has revealed that his husband Arthur Gourounlian has finally returned to Ireland.

The pair had been living in Los Angeles for the past two years, but recently decided to move back to Brian’s home country after he took part in RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars this year.

Arthur packed up their home in LA to move to Ireland last month, but the choreographer couldn’t travel due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Thankfully, Brian’s hubby finally managed to get on a flight home last night, and he touched down in Dublin Airport today.

Arthur flew back to Ireland with pals Donal and Sofie Skehan, and their two kids Noah and Oliver.

Arthur had been staying with the TV chef in LA over the past few weeks, and will continue to self-isolate with Donal and his family for another two weeks in Ireland – which means Brian won’t get to see his hubby for another while yet.

Smiling through the absolute chaos, thankfully everything going to plan so far. Heartbroken to be leaving our home of 4 years here in LA in such a rush move on the advice of the consulate, but so unbelievably grateful to be close to family (albeit through a window) in this madness and be able to get home to Ireland. The amount of luggage would make you cry and all we’re dreaming of now is a proper Irish cuppa in the new house. Huge thank you to friends, family and you guys for all the messages, support, offers to help and gestures, we really appreciate it. Also we literally could not have done this without the machine that is @gourounlian who has held babies, moved furniture and kept us going with his non stop positivity. Keep safe and we’ll try do the same, Donal, Sofie, Noah & Oliver xx

Sharing a photo of Arthur in Dublin Airport, Brian wrote: “I can confirm the eagle has landed ????My baby @gourounlian is here in Ireland at long last.”

“It’s taken weeks to get him here. With packing up our home in LA & some canceled flights but he’s made it. Following government guidelines he will now have to self isolate for 2 weeks as he has just arrived from a different country.”

“He will be self-isolating in style & with a personal chef on hand @donalskehan & @sofieskehan,” he continued.

“We have just done 12 weeks without seeing each other what’s another 2 ????
