Bressie has said that he is “delighted” to be back on his bike just two weeks after he was injured while abseiling down a waterfall.
The Voice Of Ireland coach dislocated his ankle and tore ligaments in both his feet during a holiday in Scotland with fellow Voice star Eoghan McDermott.
After a short period of recovery, the Blizzard’s frontman has been getting back into his fitness routine with a getaway in west Cork.

“Delighted to get back on the bike if only for a few km. Ankle injuries responding well to positive attitude to recovery,” he wrote on Twitter.
The accident hasn’t stopped Bressie from getting back in the water either and he’s already gone open water swimming.
“Exactly two weeks to the day hour ago I was stuck up a river gorge with torn ligaments in both ankles. Today, I am open water simming.”

Eoghan McDermot admitted at the time that he feared the worst after seeing Bressie’s injuries.
“After jumping off a waterfall we thought @nbrez had broken his ankles. Thankfully just dislocated and torn ligaments,” he wrote.
The Mullingar native recently shared a picture of hus sunburnt legs from being out cycling to let fans know he’s back in the swing of things.
