Baz Ashmawy won’t reveal future projects because people will ‘nick’ his ideas

Baz Ashmawy has revealed that he won’t speak about his future projects, because people have stolen his ideas in the past.

While the 41-year-old has finished making hit series 50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy for Sky One, Baz has plenty of plans up his sleeve – but he won’t be spilling any details.

“It’s so hard because people ask me, ‘What are you up to?’ and it is so hard that I can’t tell anybody because people will nick my ideas,” he told the Irish Daily Star.

“You never think when you say something… and you don’t have to say much. You just have to give them a snippet.

Plans: Baz is finished with 50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy – but has plenty of projects in the pipeline | SKY

“I just think that until I develop something, I’m not really talking about it until the channel is committed to it and we’re in production.

“But there is stuff on that is fun and exciting. There’s entertainment shows, there’s stuff that I’ve written and there’s dramas,” he revealed.

Although his time torturing his poor mammy Nancy on 50 Ways is over, Baz has revealed that one of his new projects will, in fact, include his famous mum.

“There is something with Mum but I don’t know if I’m going to do it next. Nancy is brilliant. She makes great telly. There are a couple of shows we are working out,” he added.
