Michael Flatley helps honour Gordon D'Arcy at sports luncheon

Former international rugby player Gordon Darcy and wife Aoife Cogan were joined by famed Irish dancer Michael Flately at a fundraising luncheon.

The sports star was honoured at the annual Ireland Funds Rugby Lunch 2016 at The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin for his philanthropic work.

Former Miss Ireland Aoife glowed alongside her husband after they returned from a two-month trip to South Africa with their daughter, Soleil.

Banishing the winter blues, the brunette beauty looked chic in a yellow Preen kimono dress.

Matching her fresh look, Aoife accessorised the outfit with a black Chanel quilted bag and black pointed cage heels.

Looking dapper at the event, Gordan recently confirmed his new career away from sport as an advisor with finance specialists Investec.

Although Michael Flatley previously revealed his final performance would take place on January 3 at the end of his Broadway stint – the stage star now has other ideas.

According to the Herald, the renowned performer now hopes to finish his career in Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas on St Patrick’s Day.
