Fans are in for an explosive episode of Love Island on Thursday night.
As teased at end of Wednesday’s episode, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Jay Younger appear to call time on their romance after he admits he wants to get to know Paige Thorne.
Speaking with Ekin-Su at the fire pit, Jay says: “Obviously, you’ve probably sensed that I’ve been a bit off today and yesterday and it’s just because I want to be honest with my feelings.”
“And I feel like because I moved so fast with you I didn’t get the chance to explore getting to know one Islander in particular here, which is Paige.”
Ekin-Su says, “I’m shocked with the Paige thing – wow!” and Jay replies, “I wanted to tell you first because I respect you and I owe you the respect.”
The Turkish actress initially takes the news quite well, and then Jay goes to tell Jacques that he’s keen to get to know Paige.
Jay says: “I don’t want anything to get between us and I’m telling you man-to-man. I want to get to know Paige on a better level.”
But shortly after, Ekin-Su pulls Jay for another chat at the fire pit and it appears she has had a change of heart.
Ekin-Su says: “First of all, I take everything back that I said here. I was calm, collected and it just hit me now what you have done.”
“You’re telling me you want to get to know Paige. She’s in a secure relationship. Do you know how muggy that makes you look?””=
“You knew at the recoupling to stay safe that I would pick you. You could have got to know Paige from day dot,” she continues. “Why would you open up to me? Saying all these cute things like ‘my head wouldn’t turn’…”

“Apparently I was the player in here, but the biggest player in this villa is you. You deserve the biggest Oscar in here.”
But as she voices her opinion around the villa, how will her fellow Islanders react to her frustrations?
Elsewhere during the episode, Davide Sanclimenti gets close to new girl Danica Taylor.
While the pair discuss new girl Antigoni’s arrival, Danica says: “I still want to get to know you, just as we are doing.”
After Davide asks, “What’s going to happen?” Danica says, “I don’t know. We’re still vibing and chatting. What do you want to happen Davide?”
Danica adds: “I do want to get to know you. Me and you are going to have a great time over the next couple of days.”
Davide then leans in for a kiss and the pair lock lips. Could this be the start of a blossoming romance between the pair?
Viewers will also see new bombshell Charlie take Ekin-Su and Tasha on dates during tonight’s episode.
Up first is Ekin-Su, and the pair get into the hot tub and share some strawberries and a glass of bubbly.
Charlie says to Ekin-Su: “Relationship wise – once I’m in a relationship, I’m fully committed. I’m a bit of an all or nothing person. Does that surprise you?”
Ekin-Su says: “A bit. It takes a confident guy to admit that. I’ve not had anyone who has said that to me yet. When I look at you, I feel like you look quite deep into someone’s eyes – it’s quite meaningful.”
It’s soon time for Tasha’s date with Charlie, and the new boy is keen to find out if Tasha is closed off because of her coupling with Andrew.
Charlie asks: “Are you opposed to getting to know me?” and Tasha says: “I’m open to having conversations – I’m coming in here open-minded.”
Complimenting Tasha, Charlie adds: “Naturally, I’m attracted to you physically – you’re very pretty. Personality-wise, you seem like you’re a lot of fun. I was intrigued by you.”
But which girl will Charlie grow closer to? And is Tasha’s head really about to turn..?
