WATCH: Injured Ed Sheeran updates fans: ‘I physically can’t play at the moment’

Ed Sheeran has released a video to update fans on his current condition after this accident.

The Galway Girl singer was in a bicycle crash in London which caused him to break his right wrist and left elbow – which led to him cancelling shows.

He posted a video to facebook this morning where he told his fans that he had to cancel some shows completely.

“I had a follow up visit to the doctor, and with physical therapy I should be alright to go from the Singapore show.”

The singer announced that the Osaka, Tokyo and Manilla shows would be postponed until April next year, they were originally scheduled for October and November.

Ed was forced to completely cancel other dates for his Asia tour in Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong and Jakarta because due to schedule conflicts he doesn’t know when he will be able to fit them in at the moment.

Ed goes on to explain, “I haven’t cancelled a show before, this has been quite a difficult decision to do, but I physically can’t play at the moment and it’s the utmost importance to get my arms healed so that I can play for the rest of my life.”

Thankfully the Irish dates are still on schedule!
