Tristan Thompson has been fined $15,000, for flipping off fans during a game earlier this week.

The fine comes after TMZ shared a video of the basketball star giving the finger to court side spectators at the Brooklyn Nets’ Barclays Center in NYC.

The league has now confirmed Tristan’s punishment, which seems to be lower than other fines within the NBA.

They told PEOPLE that he was ultimately fined for “making an inappropriate gesture toward a spectator.”

Tristan is in the midst of his five-year contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, which is reportedly worth $82 million.

The news just months after Tristan hit headlines for all the wrong reasons earlier this year, as he was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian just days before she gave birth to their first child.

Despite the scandal, the couple are still together, and recently spent Thanksgiving together in Cleveland.
