Serena Williams has revealed why she won’t be giving good friend Meghan Markle any parenting advice.
Serena welcomed her first child, Alexis Olympia, in September 2017, while Meghan gave birth to her son Archie in May of this year.
“I never pass on words of wisdom because I feel like for everyone – when they have a kid, especially when you just have a baby – it’s so difficult to just be,” Williams shared to the BBC.
“It’s just like, ‘Get through the first three, four months and then we can talk.'”
Serena also admitted that she was not perfect when it comes to her parenting, and that she does not have the parenting skill “down.”
“I totally do not,” Williams said. “I am a mess.”
Megahan Markle and Prince Harry are due to christen their son on July 6th, in a private Windsor Castle ceremony.
The Queen herself will not be in attendance due to other royal commitments.
