Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young is officially off the market.
The real estate agent turned reality star is engaged to US TV star Tarek El Moussa.
On season 2 of Selling Sunset, fans saw Heather speaking about their whirlwind romance, and now the pair are set to wed.
Tarekm 38, popped the question on Saturday while the couple were celebrating their one-year anniversary with a boat trip and Heather, 32, said yes.
The couple shared the news via Instagram with a sweet picture of the special moment.
Tarek told PEOPLE exclusively that the island is a “special place””for the couple, and they “love to be on the boat together”.
According to the publication Heather was treated to an ombré flower arrangement using over 5,000 stems of her favourite blooms, including roses, peonies, dahlias, ranunculus, butterfly lisianthus and hydrangeas.
Dressed in a tuxedo, the Tarek got down on one knee in the sand and he had already asked her parent’s permission to ask for her hand in marriage.
The mag added that he chose an eight carat, colourless, emerald-cut diamond for the engagement ring.
The couple first met last summer on July 4th, when Tarek spotted the former Playboy model on a yacht near his own.
“I’ll never forget the first time I saw her,” Tarek recently wrote on Instagram.
“It was the last thing I ever expected but I met the love of my life. The second our eyes connected and we smiled at each other I knew my life would never be the same.”
This will be Tarek’s second marriage, after splitting from his wife of 9 years Christina Anstead, who also works in real estate and co-owns TV show Flip or Flop with Tarek.
The former couple have two children together.
