Sarah Jessica Parker confirms Sex and the City reboot with teaser trailer

Sarah Jessica Parker has confirmed a reboot for the beloved series Sex and the City.

The original series ran from 1998–2004, and was followed by two blockbuster movies in 2008 and 2010.

The rebooted series, entitled ‘And Just Like That’, will see the leading lady reprise her role as Carrie Bradshaw, with the actress sharing a teaser trailer to Instagram on Sunday.

The 55-year-old wrote: “I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now? X, SJ.”

Kristin Davis, who played Miranda York in the original series, also shared the teaser, writing: “Anything is possible…. Meet you there!”

Cynthia Nixon, who starred as Miranda Hobbes, captioned her post: “You, me, New York…anything is possible.”

However, Kim Cattrall remained silent on the revival, and it is unclear at this time whether she will revive her character as Samantha Jones.

According to HBO Max, the new series “will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.”

“The ten-episode, half-hour series is scheduled to begin production in New York late spring,” the description added.

A release date has yet to be confirmed, with Sarah explaining in the comments: “We don’t have one yet but stay tuned and we will be sure to share all details!!! X”.
