A photo of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively was captured at the Met Gala by a Humans of New York photographer.
The caption of the photo is a sweet message about the actress written by her actor husband.
He gushes about her outstanding empathy, how she’s helped him through a lot and helping him deal with his father’s death.
“She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy. She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old.”
The message continues, “And she’s made me a more empathetic person. I had a very fractured relationship with my father.
“Before he died, she made me remember things I didn’t want to remember. She made me remember the good times.”
Ryan’s father died in 2015. He shares a name with the couple’s oldest daughter, James.
After seeing this post, fans believe that naming their daughter James could have been Blake’s way of trying to patch things up between father and son.
