Pete Davidson is “seeking therapy” amid his feud with Kanye West over their ex Kim Kardashian.
The comedian has allegedly been in “trauma therapy” since April, due to the rapper’s social media outbursts.
A source told People, “The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help.”
Pete, 28, and Kim, 41, called time on their nine-month relationship last week.
Kanye, who was married to the reality star for almost seven years, returned to Instagram soon after the news broke to share a photo of a fake New York Times front page
The shocking headline of the fake newspaper read: “SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28.”
However, Kanye has since deleted the controversial post from his Instagram grid.
According to Page Six, it was the Kim and Pete’s age difference which caused their split.
A source told the outlet, “Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they are just in very different places at the moment.”
“Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.”
The couple began dating in October 2021 following Kim’s SNL hosting debut.
Kim had filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021, and was declared legally single in November.
The former couple share four children together – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
