Miles Teller has commented on reports that he was arrested over the weekend.
TMZ claimed that the actor was stopped by police because he was having trouble standing and nearly fell into a traffic lane.
In San Diego there are detox centres run by volunteers, where drunk people can be brought to sleep for a few hours.

AÂ police officer is said to have offered to take Miles to one of the centres and after he refused, took him anyway.
However he was allegedly uncooperative and TMZ reports he was arrested for being drunk in public, a misdemeanour, and released from police custody a few hours later without bail.
Miles later insisted he hadn’t been arrested, tweeting, “Went down to SD to see my buddy before he deployed. I wasn’t arrested I was detained bc there was no evidence to charge me with a crime.”
The 30-year-old gained critical acclaim for his starring role in Whiplash, and in recent years has also appeared in the Divergent series, Fantastic Four, Bleed For This and War Dogs.
