Meghan Markle accuses ‘The Firm’ of ‘perpetuating falsehoods’ in new Oprah trailer

Another teaser trailer for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s tell-all interview has been released.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s explosive interview is set to air on CBS in the US on March 7, before airing at 9pm on ITV and RTÉ2 on on March 8.

In a new clip, Oprah asked Meghan: “How do you feel about the palace hearing you speak your truth today?”

Meghan replied: “I don’t know how they could expect that, after all of this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us.”

“If that comes with risk of losing things, I mean I’ve.. there’s a lot that has been lost already.”

According to CBS, the “wide-ranging interview” will see Meghan chat about life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood and how she is handling life under intense public pressure, while Harry discusses their move to the US and the couple’s future hopes.

In the first bombshell teaser trailer, Oprah asked Meghan: “Were you silent? Or were you silenced?”

“I just want to make it clear to everybody, there is no subject that’s off limits,” she added.

Oprah asked the Duchess about her “breaking point”, while Prince Harry confessed to the chat show host: “My biggest concern was history repeating itself.”

Speaking about his late mother Princess Diana, Harry added: “For me, I’m just really relieved and happy to be talking to you with my wife by my side.”

“I can’t begin to imagine what is must have been like for her all those years ago going through this process by herself all those years ago, because it’s been unbelievably tough for the both of us, but at least we had each other.”

The news comes after Buckingham Palace revealed they would be investigating allegations of bullying made against Meghan by royal aides.
