Kristen Stewart has revealed she was once told to “stop holding hands” with her girlfriend – in order to land a movie role.
The Twilight star is openly bisexual, and admitted that she was once told to stop PDA sessions with her other-half in public, if she wanted to land a Marvel movie.
“I have fully been told, ‘If you just like do yourself a favour, and don’t go out holding your girlfriend’s hand in public, you might get a Marvel movie.’
“I don’t want to work with people like that’,” she told Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
Kristen is currently dating screen-writer Dylan Meyer, and previously dated Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell.
And of course she most famously dated her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
In the interview Kristen touched on their former romance, saying the pair both wanted to keep their relationship under wraps.
“When me and Rob were together, we did not have an example to go by. So much was taken from us that, in trying to control one aspect, we were just like, ‘No, we will never talk about it. Never. Because it’s ours,'” she added.
The couple started dating in 2008 but ultimately split in 2012 when Kristen was pictured kissing her Snow White and the Huntsmen director Rupert Sanders.
The US star was at the Venice Film Festival last week, where she premiered her new movie Seberg.
She is also set to star in the highly-anticipated Charlie’s Angels reboot in November.
