Kim Kardashian’s bodyguard sued for $6 million for not protecting her during Paris robbery

Kim Kardashian’s bodyguard has been sued for $6 million for not protecting her during the Paris robbery.

The 37-year-old’s former bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, along with his security team and company, Protect Security, have all been sued by Kim’s insurance company.

American International Group have sued the security for $6,116,067, which they have stated is the exact amount they paid out for the jewellery stolen from the mother-of-three.

According to People, the lawsuit claims that the security “negligently, carelessly, and/or recklessly performed their protection, security, monitoring, inspection, and/or surveying of” Kim and the hotel.

The robbery occurred during Paris Fashion Week in 2016, when Kim was robbed at gunpoint in her hotel room.

One month after the incident Pascal reportedly decided to resign from his security position with the Kardashians and instead took up a bodyguard role with a new family.

Pascal was not with Kim at the time of the heist as he was providing security for her sisters, Kourtney and Kendall, while they were on a night out in the French city.
