Kim said how Trump “felt her heart” and knew she “had done her time” in prison.

The mother of three also revealed how she broke the news herself to Ms Johnson, over a tearful phone call.

Recalling the conversation Kim tearfully said, “I was like ‘you’re going home.”

She told CNN reporter Vans Jones how Ms Johnson cried tears of joy over the phone saying, “We cried, maybe, on the phone for like three minutes straight.”

Ms Johnson was released from prison on Wednesday and thanked President Trump and Kim Kardashian.

The 63-year-old told The Today Show how she is going “to make you [Donald Trump] so proud”.

She also thanked Kim and her team for all their work they did to free her saying, “I know that only God could have touched Kim Kardashian’s heart like that and we have connected.”

Kim and Ms Johnson have yet to meet.
