Kim Kardashian has admitted that she used to be “embarrassingly obsessed” with fame.
The 38-year-old and her famous family landed their own TV show on E! back in 2007, and have been in the spotlight ever since.
During a candid new interview with Vogue Arabia, Kim opened up about fame – and admitted that she always wanted to be a public figure.
She said: “Money was always the goal but I was obsessed with fame, like embarrassingly obsessed. I do agree that fame can be addictive.”
The news comes after Kim recently admitted that Paris Hilton “literally gave her a career” in a preview for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kim famously organised Paris’ wardrobe in the early 2000s, and the pair quickly became friends, and were regularly papped out in public together.
In the clip, Kim discusses her upcoming appearance in Paris Hilton’s new music video for her song Best Friend’s Ass.
Kim insists she’d “do anything” for Paris, after the socialite gave her her introduction to Hollywood.
“She literally gave me a career,” Kim told her sister Khloe. “And I totally acknowledge that.”
